The AKQArium team welcomes its new addition: a piece of slate. This beautiful example of metamorphic rock is rarely seen in captivity and frequently confused with its close parent phyllite. We are still trying to clarify its sex and expect to find it a partner in order to breed them. This has never been attempted before, as the reproductive system of the slate is still unknown.
Meanwhile, we also threw some more fishes in to keep it company.
